Layton Machines Corporated, commonly known as Layton is an El Kadsreian technology company founded on February 12, 1964. Layton is known for its M1 desktops, M2 laptops, M3 tablets and M4 smartphones.
Layton was founded by Masaru Layton.
In 1971, Layton released the M1000, the world's first commercially available microcomputer.
In 1984, Layton released the world's first eco-computer, called the Layton E.
