Layton M1, also known as the Layton Mark 1 is the series of desktops manufactured, marketed and sold by Layton.

The first M1 was released on January 30, 1977.

Software

Layton's default operating system is Xenika. Layton M1 can also run on Windows, EKS Vortex, Linux, Ubuntu, IRIX, GNOME and OS/2.

Reception

Layton M1 received very positive reviews. The original Layton Mark 1 was Layton's first success in the computing market.
