Leisure Rating Association, often shortened to LRA, is the official motion picture rating system for Kuboia since 1988.

Ratings

Young Children

Main article: YC (Leisure Rating Association)

Young Children, usually shortened to YC, is for content targeted particularly for young children. This rating is usually used for television series targeted at children in Approach School, and educational videos.

Kids

Main article: K (Leisure Rating Association)

Kids, usually shortened to K, is for content suitable for all audiences. According to LRA's website, K rated shows should be suitable for audiences aged four and over.

9 / R9

Main article: 9 (Leisure Rating Association)

The 9 rating indicated content that is suitable for audiences aged 9 and over only. In cinemas, the rating is replaced with the Responsible 9 rating, which indicates that those under the age group can only watch the film if accompanied by somebody aged 13 or over. However, the LRA does not recommend that those under 9 years old see the film.

13 / R13

The 13 rating indicates content that is suitable for audiences aged 13 and over only. In cinemas, the rating is replaced with the Responsible 13 rating, which indicates that those under the age group can only watch the film if accompanied by somebody aged 13 or over. However, the LRA does not recommend that those under 13 years old see the film.

16

The 16 rating indicates content that is suitable for audiences aged 16 and over only. It was introduced in 2019.

18

The 18 rating indicates content that is suitable for audiences aged 18 and over only.

21

Main article: 21 (Leisure Rating Association)

The 21 rating is treated as an emergency rating used in productions that rely heavily on very strong and excessive discrimination, sexual activity or other controversial matters. Media rated with this rating cannot be aired on television or in cinemas, can only be purchased at specialist shops and, as the name suggests, can only be purchased by those aged 21 and over.
