Let You Down is a single by Kuboian singer Fyp Fraser. Released on 3rd December, 2017, it was the last song he released before his death in October 2019. Produced and written entirely by Fyp himself, the song originally peaked at number 8 on the Karuboia charts on 10th December, 2017. However, after Fyp's death, the song re-entered the charts at peaked at the number 1 on 10th November, 2019.
Unlike his other songs, Fyp produced Let You Down himself. The guitar sound effects were recorded naturally, whilst the rest of the instruments were produced on FL Studio. Lyrically, the song is about Fyp's longtime friend and casual dating partner, Aourine Esthers, and how he feels he could have prevented her suicide in March 2005.
During its initial release, many critics felt that the song was a publicity stunt. New York City-based magazine The Fader criticised the song as "a lazy excuse for Fyp to throw a pity party for himself". Fyp was reportedly angry at the negative reviews, and took to Facebook to accuse the critics of "missing the point".
