LifeConnect (formerly known as LifeConnection until 2004) is the world’s earliest and first social networking site, blogging and instant messaging application launched on August 30, 1986 in El Kadsre after many of beta testings. Originally it requires Theorynet or Netspace with paid subscription fee, now goes free to register since March 1989. It was the most popular social networking sites before launching AIM in 1997, Yahoo! Messenger in 1998, Friendster in 2002, MySpace in 2003, Facebook in 2004, YouTube in 2005, Twitter in 2006, Tumblr in 2007, Instagram in 2010, and Google+ in 2011.

As of 2019, more 1.5 billion user were joined from this site.


The company was founded by Stephen Warzkow and Donji Yamamoto in Eirabourne in 1984, as in begin development. When the site was launched, it had 100 users had active during a month.

In April 24, 1989, LifeConnection goes free to register and account and it don't need a pay subscription fees. The websites grows rapidly and became popular social networking site during early-1990s to mid-2010s, more user can join a social network website.

In 1997, LifeConnection release a mobile application for TheoryPhone.

In early 2004, the site went undergoing new changes, finally on October 7, 2004 it rebranded as "LifeConnect", with new design look and features such as Camera, Emoji, Trending pages, etc.
