This list contains general information about graphics processing units (GPUs) and video cards from Centauri, based on official specifications.

Overview

Unlike its competitors, Nvidia, AMD and Intel, Centauri takes its own unique step in the ever-competing GPU market. It's main focus for their GPUs in the market is value and performance. Nvidia and AMD are competing in the GPU market for several years already. While Nvidia is notorious for having a bad price-to-performance ratio, AMD took advantage of the price-to-performance in the recent years with the success of AMD's Radeon RX 470/570 and RX 480/580, mainly because most of the RX 470/570s or RX 480/580s that some or many users have were either used or came from decommissioned Bitcoin mining builds.

Picasso 100 series

For the entry-level segment, the Picasso P130 and the P140, while retailing at around $99 and $135, performs similar to a GTX 1050 Ti and RX570/GTX 1060, respectively. Another entry in this segment is the Picasso G150, a GPU that performs similar to an RX570/GTX 1060 or even a GTX 1650. While the Picasso P140 and G150 both feature either 4GB or 8GB of GDDR6 video memory, only the Picasso P130 has 4GB of GDDR6 video memory.

For the mid-range segment, the Picasso G160 performs similar to a GTX 1660 or 1660 SUPER or even a RTX 2060. Being said, it outperforms the 1660 SUPER in terms of performance in 1080p and 1440p gaming.

For the high-end segment, the Picasso G170 and G180 outperform AMD's Radeon RX 5700/5700XT and NVIDIA's RTX 2070 Super/2080 Super. Both of them have 8GB of GDDR6 video memory. The GPUs are both 4K capable and have hardware accelerated raytracing, which it would be supported by DirectX 12 Ultimate and Vulkan.

Originally the P140 and G180 was supposed to be released this March, but it was delayed to May 10, 2020 due to the ongoing 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic.

For the laptop versions of these GPUs, the core configs are retained, but the core/memory clocks are reduced a bit in order to generate less heat/TDP for laptops.

A refreshed version of the Picasso 100 series GPUs is slated for released in Q2 or Q3 2021. The GPUs in the refresh would have a 15-20% performance improvement and the G160, G170 and G180 would have a variant with GDDR6X video memory. In addition to that, the refresh would also support PCIe 4.0, HDMI 2.1 and Microsoft's DirectStorage. Plans for the second generation Picasso 200 series would be announced within 3-6 months and it would be slated for release in Q4 2021 or Q2 2022..

Integrated GPUs

Unlike Intel's offerings, the Fresco product line of integrated graphics tend to perform similar to AMD's offerings, with the exception of Fresco i50m/i50/i70m/i70, where it performs similar to a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050/AMD Radeon RX 560 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
