Shortly after protests seeking justice for George Floyd, an African-American who was killed on May 25, 2020 during a police arrest, began in the United States the next day, citizens of other countries began to protest to show solidarity with the Americans. Protesters sometimes also demonstrated against issues with police or racism in their own countries.

- On May 30th, the African-Wilsonian community came together to commemorate the death of George Floyd with a peaceful, non-violent protest in central Mooreville. Around 700,000 people protested for changes towards the African-Wilsonian community. In response, the Government declared martial law on May 31st just in case anything went bad, however only one arrest was made in relation to the protest. On June 3rd, the Wilsonian Supreme Court announced that police officers would be placed on leave if they ever treated African-Wilsonians violently.
