The animated television series Lakewood Boys features a wide array of characters living in the fictional American city of Kingston. The series primarily follows middle school-aged anthropomorphic wolves named Baxter (Logan Lemon) and Tristan Lakewood (Bryce Lemon) and their lives in the fictional city of Kingston, while also documenting their often-awkward interactions with individuals around them, including sister Luna (Katelyn Brisbane, seasons 1–3; Wendy Marie Jones, seasons 4–5; Laura Jean Smith, seasons 6–7; Jessica Yamagata, season 8; and Hallie Young, season 9), mother Lynda (Victoria Davidson), and father Xavier (Bruce Hanson).

Baxter Lakewood[]

Baxter Lakewood (voiced by Logan Lemon) is one of the series' two protagonists, alongside twin brother Baxter. He is a gray wolf (as is the rest of his family) who, along with Baxter, attends Kingston Middle School in the sixth grade. As opposed to his very social brother, Baxter is an introvert, resulting in total social awkwardness. He often tries to tune people out when they try to talk to him, usually by blasting music through his headphones.
Despite his lack of communication skills, Baxter often serves as the voice of reason in his family, and has been shown on several occasions as precocious and intellectual. He also has a crush on coyote classmate Sabrina Estanque, which results in Baxter exhibiting what his family refers to as his "crush quirks"—actions that would be considered dog behaviors in real life, such as panting with his tail wagging rapidly and his tongue hanging out of his mouth.
Tristan Lakewood[]

Tristan Lakewood (voiced by Bryce Lemon), alongside twin brother Baxter, is one of the series' two protagonists. He is depicted as having very outgoing personality, though in the show's earlier seasons, he is more naive, as he typically has good intentions but ends up causing unnecessary trouble for himself, Tristan, and the people around him. This usually leads to Tristan finding himself in various antics throughout the city.
Tristan is characterized as being somewhat frenemies with Lucas Clairdelune, his white tiger classmate, as the two both playfully and seriously tease each other but still hang out frequently and even defend each other in crucial moments, which is shown more frequently after season two.
Luna Lakewood[]

Luna Mona Lakewood is Baxter and Tristan's eight-to-ten-year-old sister. She is very demanding and has a rebellious, almost tomboy-like personality. She has frequently expressed her disdain for the people around here, particularly her schoolmates. Luna is also a very vengeful person, which can be seen in episodes such as "The Crush Story" and "The Notebook Story". She is named after Lisbon's cousin, actress Luna Morris.
Like Baxter, Luna is also characterized a voice of reason, though her views are sometimes swayed by here personal distastes. She often has trouble making friends, her only real friend being Lisa Zorro, an equally tomboyish fox her age. In earlier episodes, Luna is also known for manipulating her peers to get what she wants, though this mostly applies to classmates. However, this trait was slowly written out in later episodes. However, it does appear on occasion, such as the ending of "The True Story".
A running gag in the series' earlier episodes was that Luna could possibly psychotic, as she publicly attempts to maul anybody she dislikes in many earlier episodes. However, starting with season four, it begins boiling down to just teachers, and the gag is gone completely by season seven, because the writers wanted to—in the words of the series' creator, Brian Lisbon—"grow her up already".
Lynda Lakewood[]

Lynda Bonita Lakewood is the husband of Xavier Lakewood mother of Baxter, Tristan, and Luna. She is a workaholic 37-to-39-year-old with multiple jobs, including an office job at Chromesoft Enterprises, a multinational technology company run by the obsessive and controlling Leo Lionel.
Lynda's work problems often make her want to spend an unnecessary amount of time with her children, despite her also getting annoyed of them quickly. For example, when requested to take care of situations, she often uses work as an excuse not to do anything. On her days off from work, Lynda usually goes to the mall, often forcing her children to come with her while Xavier stays home, a habit the kids often refer to as "malltripping".
