1997–2000 Magma Eye Rocket Asexual Rocket reveals in a season 3 (1998) episode that he does not have romantic interests in either males nor females. Lake Caters later revealed in 2004 that Rocket is indeed asexual. The 2014 film Rocket Reloaded introduces a female counterpart to Rocket called Roberta, but neither show romantic interest in each other, much to the disappointment of some longtime fans.

Randy Gay Randy has a tendency of displaying effeminate mannerisms, and calls Rochester "darling" in one episode. He was confirmed to be gay by Phelan Morkel in a 2019 Tweet.[2]
2002–present Aria Adventures Aria Lesbian As revealed in The Aria Movie, Aria is openly lesbian. This is seen often in the films, but her homosexuality is seen in some episodes. In one episode, Aria tells Ms. Icey she secretly has a crush on Ceeby. Brazil, United States
2003–2005 Wonderbeaver Lisa Perniola Lisa is openly lesbian, and is seen a few times hanging out with other girls. In a November 2018 interview on Martin Berger's radio show The Friendly Side, Phelan Morkel stated she and Keisha Singh were "a lesbian couple, with Lisa being the lesbian and Keisha being bi." In August 2020, he posted art on his DeviantArt profile featuring the two holding hands, alongside art featuring Mole Miner characters Harry and Randy and Morten characters Plimp the Wolf and Bush the Panda. Lora Acacia Bisexual Lora's first romantic interest to be displayed in the series is Donni Goodwell. The two flirt with each other throughout Arc 1, and they even spend a day on the boardwalk together. Despite this, she also shows affection towards Kona. The two go to Venus Island together in Arc 2 and even bump foreheads in "Dramatica". Donni eventually kisses her cheek, and Lora holds hands with Kona at the end of the series as the two walk into the moonlight.
2015–present Blue Kai Akuda Kai Lesbian Akuda and Marayo Kai are the mothers of Soenji Kai and recurring characters.

Louis Raphael de la Vert Gay In the episode "Smaller Thoughts", Louis sings a song about how he spent his whole life looking for a boyfriend, but could not find one.
Sotoshi School Hana Keito / Huntress Keito Lesbian Hana, shortly after joining the Wolf Pack, meets Yin. Although Hana despises of Yin at first because of her popularity and good grades, she begins to feel affection for Yin. In "Thunder: Part 1", Yin confesses that she likes Hana. However, the two do not kiss until "Thunder: Part 3". In "Thunder Part 3", during Huntress training, Yin confesses that she always had a crush on Hana, but she was too afraid to admit it because, otherwise she would not be allowed to be a Huntress when she finishes her training. Hana also blows a kiss in Yin's direction when she leaves the city.

Kabi Maja Lesbian Kabi has a secret crush on Hisui Midori, which has been a recurring element since season 3. She often flirts awkwardly with Hisui, and after her end-of-semester speech, she tells Hisui about her attraction, which disgusts Hisui.
Lori Velvet Bisexual Lori and Ijiochai show strong affections for each other. The two date each other for a few weeks, and the pair kiss in "Doom, Part 1". In "Moons, Part 2", Lori reveals that she once had a crush on Yin, and Ijiochai admits that he has loved several boys in the past.

2018–present Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat Yeh-Yeh Trans man In the season 2 (2019) episode "All Those Golden Memories", the Foolish Magistrate is showing the Three Daughters photos of Yeh-Yeh. The photos of him growing up show him as a girl kitten (the same design used for him as a kitten in previous Sagwa franchise installments, wherein his gender at that age was never mentioned) who begins dressing more "boyish" as time goes on, and Nai-Nai refers to him as "such a silly little girl" after seeing this, to which Yeh-Yeh blushes. Nai-Nai Bisexual While she is married to Yeh-Yeh (who, as mentioned prior, is a trans man), Nai-Nai states in the season 2 (2019) episode "Nai-Nai, Yeh-Yeh and the Messenger Pigeon" that she thinks that "any male or female kitty that was in love with me saw me for the beauty I had inside, and so did I!", and also states that she and Yeh-Yeh fell in love when he was still a girl cat. During an interview with El TV Kadsre 24 regarding the social media response to the episode, the episode's writer Jean-André Dankowski (who is openly gay) stated that "Nai-Nai is intended to be bisexual in the new Sagwa series, like how her husband Yeh-Yeh was assigned female at birth but identifies as a man."[5]
2018–2020 Rogue Vampire Kaita Bisexual Throughout the series, Kaita flirts with male vampires and even seduces a werewolf in order to get into Castle Omega. However, in the series finale, it is revealed that Kaita has feelings for Kuji.[6][7] Sandia
2019 Franklin Jack Rabbit Bisexual In "Franklin's Dance Party", Jack Rabbit, Rabbit's older brother, is shown dancing with another male rabbit named Benny Rabbit, and in "Franklin's Valentine" he gives Valentine's cards to Goose's older sister and Benny. Mick Neil of the Xavier Eggers team later stated that "If you're wondering, yes, Jack Rabbit likes a little bit of both." Howie Bogaert, his current voice actor, responded to a Tweet asking about Jack Rabbit's bisexuality with "To me and the writers, it's basically that Rabbit and Bunny vaguely know of Jack's stance on the spectrum. 2019–present Mandrake Premiere Julia Mandrake Lesbian Julia Mandrake, the series' protagonist, is the daughter of Adam and Eve Mandrake, the respective King and Queen of Heaven. Throughout the series, she is seen hanging out with another girl named Jade Cloud, who often calls Julia as "honey" and "sugar". In the episode "End of an Era", Julia kisses Jade on the cheek.

Roswell Newmex Gay The episode "Into Your Mind", which features a flashback to Roswell's teenage years, features him talking to a boy named Thomas on bus stop bench. After the scene, Thomas is shown Roswell a piggyback ride and a moment is featured in which Roswell and Thomas ralk to each other on a bus before Roswell gets off the bus and waves goodbye Thomas, blushing. On Twitter two days after the episode was released, Mark Kowalski, who voices Roswell, tweeted that Roswell was, in fact, in love with Thomas.[8]
Crucifix Intersex On Junkread, one of Mandrake Premiere's character designers, Robbie Gonzalez, stated that he and fellow artist Mark Davidson wanted to "have fun" with designing Crucifix, and gave him both a breasts and a crotch bulge in his pants, indicating that he is both male and female, which creator Lauren Latelo approved of.[9]
2019–2020 White Box: System Red Rose Lesbian In episode 9, Rose sleeps with Yochi, and she almost has sex with Hyugo in episode 11. In episode 15, however, Ruby admits that she has a crush on Wanda, and that she only had sex with Yochi and Hyugo to hide her homosexuality. Sandia

2020–present Red Queen Jessica Cory Lesbian In episode 10, after Lori is rejected by Justin, Jessica watches her walk away, and she says, "Don't worry, Lori. You're my type." Three hours after the episode was released, episode writer Anthony Cubbard confirmed on Twitter that Jessica is lesbian.[10] United States
2021–present Otherland Magic Academy Donnie Chicago Lesbian In episode 9, as Ruby leaves the campus, Donnie tells Ruby that she will still be her friend. She then holds on to Ruby's hand, and the two walk away together. Writer Dan Seabure did confirm on Twitter that Donnie loves Ruby, but did not mention Ruby loving Donnie.[11]
2021 End of My World Chenen Gay Chenen is Nito and Onu's openly gay neighbor. In episode 8, he reveals he has feelings for both Nito and Onu.[12] Sandia
2021–present I Once Dated Your Sister Lina Bakan Lesbian Lina is Nokan's introverted 17-year-old sister. At the end of episode 4, it is revealed that Lina once had a crush on a girl named Kuni.
I Kissed My Best Friend Yui Sogoki The aenimo follows Yui Sogoki, an 18-year-old girl who accidentally kisses her best friend, Deuaka Iete, while the two are sleeping.[13] After the incident, the girls feel awkward around each other, but slowly come to terms with their feelings.At the end of episode 6, the girls hold hands and walk toward the sunset, implying that they are lesbian.

One Island The Q Lesbian In episode 12, the Q tells Marcie that she needs her, and she holds Marcie's hand. A day after the first season's release, writer Anthony Bernie confirmed that the Q is lesbian.[14] United States
