LittleBigPlanet (リトル・ビッグ・プラネット) is a 1965 Japanese anime series produced by Tokyo Movie (now known as TMS Entertainment) in collaboration with Mushi Production. It premiered on NET Television (now known as TV Asahi) on October 27, 1965. It starred Mari Shimizu as the main protagonist, Sackboy. It lasted for nine seasons, with the total of 3,563 episodes, the final episode being aired on July 30, 1975 before the network's closedown.

The first film adaptation, titled LittleBigPlanet: The Legendary Sackboy (リトル・ビッグ・プラネット:伝説のサックボーイ Ritoru Biggu Puranetto: Densetsu no Sakku Bōi), was released in Japan on February 10, 1966 and in America on September 28, 1966 by Boxoffice International Pictures, being dubbed in English. The second film adaptation, titled LittleBigPlanet: Sackboy's Great Adventure (リトル・ビッグ・プラネット:サックボーイの大冒険 Ritoru Biggu Puranetto: Sakku Bōi no Dai Bōken), was released in Japan on June 22, 1968, in Europe on December 23, 1968 and in America on October 31, 1969 by Boxoffice International Pictures. The two latter were filmed in color.
