Los Dibujéroes is a musical stage production produced by Producciones ZAP!! and based on their children's television program Galaxia Animada, featuring the human and puppet hosts and characters from various animated television series featured on the program in a crossover narrative. It toured during the latter part of 2001.
Although it was faced with budgeting issues, the show proved to be a success in its native Argentina and Uruguay, with the cast studio album, television broadcast and VHS/DVD release of a filmed production raking in considerable revenue. It later spawned other international adaptations with a similar theme and some of the same characters featured.
Summary[]
A seemingly typical day on the Estación Teleprise goes awry when a coalition of villains breaks free of the television barrier with the intent to control all life in the universe with a campaign of intimidation, causing and spreading fear far and wide. This leads to Chistoño, Cerebrestre, Xchica, Gánjero and their young human pals to enlist the aid of various cartoon protagonists to band together and help them find a way to overcome what they fear and stop the villains once and for all.
