History[]
Welter Communications Inc. (1986-2012)[]

The three television stations were independents until 1989. WWTH and WCXI signed primary affiliations with the ITV network, and WGAM aired certain ITV programs that were declined carriage by WRBQ-TV.
In 1988, WelterCom tried to acquire WEND-AM-TV, but had to sell WEND-TV to a trust company to avoid FCC violations.
On January 20, 1991, the Mattupolis station WNMT-TV was acquired by WelterCom, which now has four TV stations.
On October 9, 1996, WelterCom acquired the Grassyville-based Telemundo station WGSY-TV.
In 2000, WelterCom finally acquired WEND-TV after the FCC approved the acquisition.
In 2005, WelterCom announced it would be closing. But then he went back, got a deal, and went back to his normal activities.
In late 2011, WelterCom planned to create a TV network.
At 11:59PM on October 2, 2012, WWTH-DT and WCXI-DT stopped broadcasting ITV programming to announce a new TV network.
