'Lucky Channel' (Japanese: らっきー☆ちゃんねる, Hepburn: 'Rakkī Channeru') is a feature in the Driller Engine Grand Prix series of go-kart racing games. First appearing in the 2003 game Driller Engine Grand Prix 2x2, the feature was created as a way to assist players, even beginners, through the means of Akira Kogami and Minoru Shiraishi.
Lucky Channel would provide info on the course, any obstacles the player needs to overcome, useful tips while racing, and commentary throughout the race. Both announcers often take turns saying lines whenever a certain event occurs in-race.
The feature drew mixed reception upon Drillimation players, as it drew criticism from more experienced players. Drillimation had the feature turned off by default starting with Driller Engine Grand Prix 6.
