Lucky Star vs. Zeiram (らき☆すたvs.ゼイラム Raki Suta vs. Zeiramu) is a 2001 Japanese-El Kadsreian science fiction animated crossover film between the Lucky Star video game series by Drillimation Studios and the 1991 Japanese science-fiction film Zeiram. The film was written and directed by Susumu Takajima and Keita Amamiya, co-written by Kagami Yoshimizu, and was distributed by Toho Company in Japan, and Walt Disney Pictures internationally.
The film revolves around the Lucky Star crew, as they must defeat Zeiram, who used a teleportation device to enter the Lucky Star world, with the help of the bounty hunter Iria.
The film was released on June 25, 2004, and received positive reviews from critics, and grossing over $675 million worldwide. The film was also nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Special Effects and Best Production Design.
