The mrkanmt3 Network (shortened to MA3 and identified on-air as mrkanmt3) is an American commercial broadcast television network that serves as the flagship property of Great Lakes Media Group. The network is based at 31 Broadcast Plaza in Yonkers, New York, while maintaining additional offices at the headquarters of mrkanmt3 Great Lakes Television (a subsidiary of Great Lakes Media Group) in downtown Northville, Michigan.

History[]

On June 17, 2021, USTV Networks announced its split into three companies. The first company was MA Networks, which acquired already existing broadcast network TV-C (a partnership between MA Networks and RTL Magyaroszag), and cable networks WeatherLocal and NS3. Subsequently, MA Networks announced its intent to form a new broadcast network using resources from TV-C, its owned and operated station base, and already existing original programming broadcast on NS3 (which was set to end in September 2022 and transfer to another network). TV-C previously broadcast NS3's morning and evening bulletins (as NS3 was largely converted into an entertainment-only channel by 2015) until January 21, 2022, after which the simulcasts ended, as a result of the network losing viewers. RTL Magyaroszag announced that the branding license agreement for TV-C was revoked in February 2022, and the network would be given until May of that month to change its name and remove all references to Cool TV.

On April 23, 2022, MA Networks announced TV-C would shut down on April 29, 2022, following the end of its primetime programming, as a result of a loss of viewership and declining interest in the network. Subsequently, MA Networks announced its new broadcast network, now titled the MA3 Network, would launch in TV-C's place on April 30, 2022, at 7am.

The network launched on April 30, 2022, the same day the Raina La Nuit YouTube channel rebranded to MarkAnimates. At the same time, the network took over TV-C's former news programming. On August 15th, the network unveiled its new primetime programming for the 2022-23 television season, which included a full 4 hours worth of programming throughout the week. Most of its programming was carried over from NS3 (as the network was about to introduce a major rebranding on September 24, 2022, the day most of its original programming ended its run and transferred to the MA3 Network).

TV-C's international channels in France (Flamme TV) and Spain (TeleEspana) rebranded as MA3 Flama and MA3 TeleEspana respectively on September 17. TV-C in Poland later rebranded as MA3 Blink! on October 9, and TV-C in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria rebranded as MA3 Glee on October 13th.

On September 19, 2023, the MA Networks company was integrated into Great Lakes Media Group. On October 31, 2023, the parent company of Great Lakes Media Group, Aero Media Group, merged with Warsaw, Poland-based Teleradio S.A. to form AMG Teleradio S.A.

On April 30, 2025, the network introduced a minor rebrand and changed its name to mrkanmt3, whilst still keeping the MA3 name. On May 26, 2025, the network unveiled a major rebrand and a new "MA" wordmark, with the branding scheduled to be launched on June 1st at 7:00am Eastern and Pacific Time. This was to allow affiliates and O&Os to update their logos and branding to match the new brand guidelines. Stations operating in the Central and Mountain time zones updated their logos to match the new brand guidelines on June 17th.

As of January 2026, the mrkanmt3 Network offers a wide range of primetime programming available from 7:00pm-11:00pm in all US time zones daily (from Monday-Sunday). The network also broadcasts 24.5 hours of news programming each day, 28 hours of primetime programming, and 48 hours of MA3 Sports programming (provided during the Saturday and Sunday afternoon timeslots and offered between 7:30am-1:30am in addition to the noon timeslot.)  This amounts to 100.5 hours of network programming.

The network operates feeds localized for each American time zone (with the exception of MA3 AlaskaView TV and MA3 Pacific Islands TV). The Eastern feed is localized at its East Coast flagship station in New York City, the Central feed is localized at its station in Chicago, the Mountain feed is localized at its station in Billings, Montana, and the Pacific feed is localized at its West Coast flagship station in Los Angeles.

In specific circumstances where MA3 does not have an affiliate in a specific designated market area, the national feed of the network (simply called MA3 National) is offered to cable and satellite television providers in that specific DMA. The national feed is localized to all time zones in the continental U.S. and does not include local programming breaks, but consists of repeats of its primetime/late-night programming or daytime soap operas. A short 3-minute filler video containing the network's branding is broadcast between 5:55-6am Eastern and Pacific Time on weekdays, and between 4:55-5am Eastern and Pacific Time on weekends.
