Mahri (Japanese: ま理 Mari) (pronounced /mahˈɹi/ mah-ree) officially the Republic of Mahri, is a island country located in central Aritonesia. El Kadsre, Sentan, Hawaii, Mexico, Vicnora and North El Kadsre are Mahri's neighboring countries.
The ethnic Japanese began to settle in the island in 1804. Mahri was a part of the Sentanese Empire, but gained independence in 1922. The country managed to survive the Great Depression and was even neutral during the second world war. In 1969, the Vlokozu Union conquered Mahri, and was one of the richest states in the union. After the dissolution of the union in 1989, Mahri once again became an independent state and in 2022, became a semi-presidential republic.
History[]
Prehistory: 36th century BC-1829[]
People reached this island in the 36th Century BC, before the colonization of Mahri by Japan the island was populated by native El Kadserian people
Japanese settling: 1829-1922[]
In 1829, the Japanese began to settle in Mahri. Throughout the 19th century, Japanese immigration has increased overtime.
Independence from Sentan: 1922-1969[]
On October 16, 1922 during the first wave of the Sentanese Islands decolonization, Mahri declared independence from the Sentanese Empire. Mahri quickly became the most developed country in the El Kadsreian Islands and its economy managed to survive the Great Depression.
Mahri was neutral throughout World War II and it wasn't invaded at all. Mahri rarely gave aid to Sentan and Vicnora during the war. In 1955, Mahri Tower, the tallest structure in Abeta was completed.
Vlokozu Union: 1969-1989[]

On November 11, 1969, Michael Vlokozu took control of Mahri. Mahri became the second-richest state in the union. The whaling business boomed in the country and people who were working in the whaling buisness earned the most money than the other jobs in the state. There was also an architectural boom that also earned a lot of money for Mahri's people.
Modern Mahri: 1989-present[]
The Vlokozu Union was dissolved on March 29, 1989, and was split into five countries (El Kadsre, Mahri, Sentan, North El Kadsre, Vicnora) to form the United El Kadsreian Nations after Michael Vlokozu died because of trauma and assassination four days earlier in Japan. Mahri became a modernized country. On September 9, 2022 ahead of the 100th anniversary of Mahri’s independence, Mahri removed Charles III as head of state and became a republic again after 53 years.
