Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (known as Metal Gear 3: Solid Snake in the United States and Europe) are 1992 console ports of the 1990 Konami game for MSX2 computers. It was converted by Introware from the MSX2 version and it was released by Konami worldwide for the SNES, Theorysonic Codear and Century-16. The music and sounds are converted by Eeli Ikäheimo using Introware Sound Engine 2.0.
The gameplay is the same as the MSX2 version, but the graphics are different to fit the console's resolution. The SNES version was censored to fit Nintendo's censorship guidelines.
