Geoffrey Randall (b. 5th May, 1954) is an English musician, singer-songwriter, poet, record producer, actor and author. Based in London, England, he started his career in the late 1970s as a musician in the new wave scene. He later co-founded the electronic band Colourbots in 1983, serving as the lead vocalist and keyboard player.
Freeway typically brands his music as "avant-garde electro", as he often likes to take an experimental approach to several different types of electronic-based genres such as house, new wave and electronic-orientated rock.

Freeway graduated from university in 1981 with a degree in music and engineering.
Freeway has a wife, Linda, who he married in 1987. Together they have three children. In 2018, Freeway revealed he had became a grandfather.
