"Miracles of the Network" is a song by Azaran girl group V-Jet that appears to be hybrid between Myra's "Miracles Happen" and DJ Sammy's "Heaven".

Music video[]

The music video was intentionally released in a 4:3 aspect ratio (1.33:1) and directed by Maksim Volkov to promote both the group’s debut and a fictional tech-themed drama.

Location[]

The video was shot on location at the Promenade Temecula mall in Temecula, California, during its major expansion year in 2002.

Principal photography took place primarily there, specifically utilizing the then-new Macy’s wing and the landmark Edwards Cinema theater.

Much like Myra's "Miracles Happen," the video follows the three members of V-Jet as they navigate a futuristic "shopping spree" through the mall's newest corridors. A key sequence features the group visiting the Macy’s wing, which was brand new in late 2002, and browsing era-accurate stores like Wet Seal and Claire’s.

Synopsis[]

The music video for "Miracles of the Network" (2002) is a stylized travelogue and science-fiction narrative set within a futuristic interpretation of the Promenade Temecula in California.

Plot[]

The video opens with V-Jet arriving at the mall during its 2002 expansion phase. The group—consisting of Kira, Jax, and Loli—is depicted on a high-tech "shopping spree" that serves as an allegory for digital connectivity. They are shown navigating a newly opened concourse, where they interact with holographic touchscreen kiosks displaying the Şon-Net "Network Signal."

Midway through the video, the trio performs a heavily choreographed dance routine in the mall's food court. This sequence is intercut with "glitch" effects and digital static, representing the "Miracles" of the emerging internet age.

Finale[]

The video culminates in a nighttime performance held in front of the Edwards Grand Palace theater marquee. The group appears in coordinated blue and gold metallic outfits, designed to reflect the theater's vibrant neon lighting. The final shot focuses on the mall’s parking lot—the future site of the Şon-Net Technologies office—which is shown dissolving into a stream of data packets, symbolizing the transition from physical retail to a digital "Network".

Choreography[]

The dance sequences utilize syncopated hand movements intended to mimic the clicking of a computer mouse, a direct reference to the group’s "V-Jet" name (a pun on "video" and "fidget").

Choreographed by [Name], the video features high-energy dance sequences in two primary mall landmarks:

  • The Food Court: The group performs a synchronized routine in the central lower-level food court, with backdrop cameos from vendors like Amerikhan Mongolian Grill and Mrs. Field’s Cookies.
  • Edwards Cinema Marquee: The climax of the video takes place at night in front of the Edwards Grand Palace theater. The members wear coordinated blue and gold metallic outfits that reflect the vibrant blue and gold neon lighting of the theater's iconic marquee and Hollywood-themed murals.

Production[]

The video utilized four professional background dancers who later joined V-Jet for their live television performances on Azaran music networks.

Personnel[]

The video features the group's permanent touring crew of four background dancers.
