Money for Nothing is the debut single from Mark Hiua's band, The Hiuas on their album, Sugar: The Album. The song is a cover version of Dire Straits' song of the same name. The MTV parts were changed to "stage" parts, due to Mark Hiua not liking MTV. The "I want my MTV" parts were changed to keyboard covers of the line.
The music video featured guitarist Mary Hiua, keyboardist Jack Hiua, drummer Marian Hiua, and bassist and singer Mark Hiua. The music video featured Mark Hiua and his family visiting Hollywood doing various things like see a movie, hangout at a beach, renting an apartment, and windsurfing.
