Kevin Montaña Bettencourt-Wigley (born September 15, 1972) is a Canadian singer, musician and actor. Originally from Fort McMurray, Alberta, he currently lives in Toronto, Ontario. He was born to a Cuban father and Métis mother, both of whom worked in the Canadian petroleum industry.
On television, he has had voice roles in Toad Patrol Fantastix, Warriors: The New Prophecy, Wonderbeaver, and Sagwa's Siamese Life, as well as minor roles in films such as The Santa Clause, Mean Girls, Cinderella Man, and The Greatest Game Ever Played.
Wigley is also a rock/metal songwriter and performer. With his group Montana, he co-wrote and sang the lead vocals for the Juno Award-nominated 1997 single "Smash Through It".
On October 17, 2018, Montana was detained for an hour at Fort McMurray International Airport following concerns over an alleged threat to anti-oilfield activists he encountered in the terminal. When questioned if the act would provoke a firing from his voice acting roles, Latikuu Edacra representatives confirmed that Wigley would remain employed by them for the foreseeable future, stating that the company's morals clause for it's children's media franchises did not consider "questioning, criticizing and/or ridiculing the actions of activists" to be an immoral act, and thus Wigley was not legally subject to termination.
