The fun centre was announced in December 1996. Advertisements for Nickelodeon Slime Zone began airing on Nickelodeon In January 1997, and continued to air on the channel after its original open.
Opening Times
The chain's website included a page which included general opening:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 pm.
- Friday: 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00a.m. to 12:00 am
- Sunday: 10:30p.m. to 9:30p.m.
Attractions
The centre’s main selling point was the '''Nick Bowling''' alley. At the side of Nick Bowling was the arcade, '''AracdeNick'''.
Aside from bowling and arcade machines, the fun centre featured a Nickelodeon-themed cinema titled '''Nick Theatre''', which allowed guests to sit down and watch shows that aired on Nickelodeon . In July 2003, another cinema room was added, titled '''Nick Jr. Theatre''', which aired shows that aired on Nick Jr.
No advertisements were shown in either theatre rooms
The Blimp''' was a snack bar, which sold fast food, soft drinks and alcohol.
