Northern Project is a Kuboian band and music project fronted by musician Anthony Fuller. An electronic and house-orientated musical project, it was formed in 1985, notably as one of the first musical acts to originate in the country. Their 1987 single "Labyrinth" was the first single to reach number one on the Karuboia charts after its launch in 1988. The band is often credited as the pioneer of KB hopscotch music.

History[]

The Northern Project was founded by Anthony Fuller and Mike P. Morrison through a mutual interest to fuse the developing house music genre with soul and classical music. When talking about the project's debut single "Labyrinth", Fuller explained that he wanted to make music that could be played in both professional and casual environments.
