Notable events in El Kadsre in the 1970s The 1970s was seen as the “golden decade” for El Kadsre (then known as the Vlokozu Union) and it was the only full decade of the union. There was an economic miracle in the union, the astronauts landed on Mars and the Union annexed Vicnora.
August 20 - VSA Mars program: Gibson 1, carrying astronauts Kenchi Takenaka, Brodie Coughlan and Basil Maynard, lifts off from Yahahama towards Mars.

January 21 - Theorysonic puts the TS-Desk, the world’s first desktop microcomputer up on sale
April 19 - VSA Mars program: Gibson 1 lands on Mars and around 700 million people worldwide watched Takenaka taking the first steps of the human in Martian surface.
May 30 - Technic, the first modern energy drink was introduced
September 4 - The El Kadsreian War Memorial in Glonisla was opened to the public.
October 5 - Vlokozuian troops were sent to Raland to help Ralander troops rebuild the city of Villamonte from the devastating earthquake
October 14 - Vlokozuian economic miracle: The Vlokozu Union takes the spot of the world’s largest economy from the United States. Vlokozu Union/El Kadsre would hold the title for 35 years.
November 24 - VSA Mars program: Gibson 1 returns safely to Earth.
December 1 - The Vlokozuian government begin importing oil to countries supporting Israel in Yom Kippur War in the wake of the 1973 oil crisis
December 1 - 1973 Vlokozu Union federal election. Michael Vlokozu was re-elected for Prime Minister.
September 25 - Michael Vlokozu makes his "Two states are better than none" speech at the United Nations General Assembly, endorsing the idea of a two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
July 14 - 26 VA troops ordered by Katashi Ito raided the Vlokozu residence in the attempt to assassinate Michael Vlokozu and his family. Vlokozu was unharmed and 24 soilders were killed and two were arrested.
September 2 - Katashi Ito resigns as president to avoid impeachment trail and flees to the Philippines. Michael Vlokozu then takes over presidental powers.
September 23 - The Vlokozu Union illegally annexes the Vicnoran Kingdom.
October 1 - 114 UN states condemn the illegal annexation of the Vicnoran Kingdom. 12 out of 21 UN Security Council members (the Soviet Union, Vizhutuan Federation, Benin, Libya, Pakistan, India, Usheigep, Isandarual, PanamaRomania, and Narthernee) support the UNSC resolution condemning the Vlokozuian invasion of Vicnora. 7 of the UN security council members (the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Venezuela, France, the Vlokozu Union) veto the resolution.
November 2 - 72 members of the Vlokozuian Labor Party were purged during the parliament session on live television, following mass controversy over the the Vlokozu Union's illegal annexation of Vicnora.
April 5 - Hand-picked by Michael Vlokozu, the 1960 East El Kadsreian presidential candidate Kouki Minami becomes president of the Vlokozu Union
May 3 - Vlokozu Collision Incident: Vlokozuian destroyer VUS Cranic collides with SS Torrance in the Pacific Ocean
August 25 - Nova Orbis, the third instalment of the Technic Heroes franchise and the first film to be based on the game, was released
December 3-17 - Elizabeth II and Prince Philip visit the Vlokozu Union. They toured around the cities of El Kadsre City, Capulco, Glonisla, Abeta, Makohiro, Fusa and Tugaganda.
