The NullBit POP! is a handheld video game console introduced and released by NullBit Network in January 2023.
History[]
On September 12, 2022, NullBit Network announced that they were making its first ever handheld game console, as the name isn't revealed. Several days later, the name for the console, "NullBit POP!" was revealed and coined by NullBit's founder, Tanya Stewart.
Development started in November 3, 2022 when Tanya made concept art for the console, including its user interface, and also made concept demo videos for the console, including its games and software.
The NullBit POP! was launched on January 20, 2023, in the United States, United Kingdom and Japan, with the prices of $95.00 (US), £74.88 (UK), and ¥13,528.72 (JP) respectively. The console itself features a 1366x768 WXGA HD display, MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus processor, internet access, Dolby Digital audio system for the speakers, the ProximaOS operating system, and compatibility for physical NullBit POP! game cartridges. It has similarities to the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch.
4 new color variants have been introduced on July 3. The colors include: Exotic Yellow, Lipstick Red, Bright Sky Blue and Girly Pink.
On December 17, 2023, NullBit has also introduced a new type of cartridge that can be inserted to the console. These new cartridges are called "NullBit POP! Videocard". These cartridges play videos that came from television shows, films and music videos, can also work like normal game cartridges, VHS tapes and VideoNow's PVD's, and sold in sizes ranging from 8GB to 64GB. There are 124 Videocard titles as of Monday, May 26th.
Additionally, users can create their own custom video cartridges out of blank Videocards with the NullBit POP! Videocard Studio software for Windows and MacOS.
A functionality to play downloaded music albums on-demand are also added as an update on February 9, 2024, powered by the TheoryMusic player engine by Theorysonic. Other subfeatures related to it include playing music even if the console's screen and/or WiFi is off.
Game library[]
The NullBit POP! has over 1,100+ games to download and play, and released worldwide as of January 2025. Most notable titles include Emojicats Street Games, NullBit Friends Party, and Marbles The Game: Touch and Roll[1]. It also provides applications that came in with the operating system, and apps that can be downloaded on the NullBit Game Lodge.
NullBit POP! Online[]

Months after the release of the console, NullBit has also introduced a new online feature that was included in the new software update on March 6, named NullBit POP! Online. It is a free online service that allows players to post their activity and play online multiplayer. It was released on March 27 for iOS, Android and the NullBit POP!. An online version of the service is launched on August 19, in beta stages, while it is released completely on September 8.

The NullBit POP! console has many different peripherals and accessories that are either required or optional for some games. The peripherals were sold seperately from the consoles.
Peripherals[]
- POP! Magic Pen - A stylus that varies with each color that is same as the console itself. Works on some games such as "Draw It!", and "Marbles The Game: Touch and Roll[1]". Also rechargable when on a Magic Pen charging dock.
- Jam Keys - A module with four colored rhythm keys that only works on the game "Stacky's Piano Jam".
- Typemaster Keyboard - A Bluetooth-powered keyboard that works on a few games.
- Sing It! Microphone - A wired portable microphone that can be connected to the earphone jack located at the top of the console. Works on some games such as "NullBit Friends Party" (Can You Sing It? minigame).
Accessories[]
- Poptunes Headphones - A pair of wired headphones that can be connected to the earphone jack located at the top of the console.
- Power Adapter - A type-C USB 3.0 length cable that can charge the console, and for other uses such as data transfer. It is also detachable so you can use another USB cable on the same port.
- LED Charging Cable - The standalone cable from the Power Adapter, but with flashing red, green and blue lights inside.
- Carrying Case - A case to carry your console, cartridges, the Magic Pen and the power adapter. It's also lightweight, and has a zipper to open and close, so you can carry it anywhere.
- Headphones Case - This is the exact same from the console's carrying case, but for the Poptunes headphones accessory.
- Microphone Case - This is the exact same from the console's carrying case, but for the Sing It! Microphone peripheral.
- Magic Pen Charging Dock - This is a dock that can charge the POP! Magic Pen peripheral via a type-C USB 2.0 cable.
