Operation Showtime is an ongoing covert operation directed by the El Kadsreian Intelligence Service and later the El Kadsre Special Security Committee to assassinate "animal rights radicals" and members of the Animal Liberation Front. It was launched in mid-1997.
The first assassination occurred on July 5, 1997 when John Samuel Kaizer, a PETA spokesperson and long time friend of the organization's founder Ingrid Newkirk, was killed in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Three EKIS agents had been waiting for him to return home from a meeting he and Bob Barker had with a group of high school students, and shot him sixteen times, each for "sixteen people and businesses harmed by PETA's biggest puppet, the Animal Liberation Front." After the shooting, the agents took an chartered Air El Kadsre flight back to Glonisla.
