Orko Heikkinen (born 9 April 1947) is an Orlando-based Finnish businessman, film producer and director, studio executive, voice actor and former child actor who is the co-founder and CEO of Orko Video.

Bio[]

Heikkinen was born on 9 April 1947 in Helsinki, Finland to his parents, and was baptized the next day. His father Tuomo was a famous film actor, and because of this, Heikkinen was introduced into films at the age of three and appeared in several films as a child.

In 1967, Heikkinen founded his own company called "Orko Heikkinen Elokuvat Oy" which he produced and directed movies.

On 4 May 1977, wishing to go to a foreign country, Heikkinen went to Los Angeles, California and went to see the Star Wars film at Grauman's Chinese Theatre three weeks later.

Three years later, Heikkinen went to Orlando, Florida, where he would meet Orko Shoji to join forces with her to found Orko Video, a home video distributor that not only distributed martial arts films, public domain cartoons and silent films but also produced low-budget direct-to-video films.

In 1983, Heikkinen started his voice acting career, portraying announcers and Finnish foreigners and characters, giving the fact that he speaks Finnish and English.
