Helados Panilla Inc. is a Puerto Rican ice cream company headquarted in San Juan with offices on the U.S. mainland in Worcester, Massachusetts. The company was founded by Leonardo Panizzi and Hernándo Osorio Cannella in 1953.

Panilla has factories in Bayamón, Puerto Rico and Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

Their main rival is Breyers, for both use natural ingredients (albeit with Panilla using more of such) and having somewhat of a “dark” advertising aesthetic with a black background and such. Turkey Hill is another rival of Panilla.

Panilla’s ice cream bars are noted for being at a Magnum-level of premium, but are advertised to a wider audience (somewhat similar to what Turkey Hill is doing with their Dipped Duos ice cream bars)
