Pelimas (/peliːmɑːs/), officially the Republic of Pelimas (Peliman Spanish: Republica de Pelimas; Spanish: República de Pelimas) is a country and sovereign state in North America. Pelimas is an island nation, and has a maritime boundary with Mexico to the east. With 79.65 million population, Pelimas is the 20th-most populous country in the world, and is the third-most populous country in North America, only behind Mexico and the United States. It is also a major regional power in North America, along with Mexico.
Thomson Hills is the capital city and the largest city in Pelimas, with 35.55 million residents, while the rest of the country has 79.65 million residents.
Pelimas ranks 7th on the UN Human Development Index as it is a highly developed country. It is currently a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, the Organization of American States, the Organization of Ibero-American States, the OPANAL, the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, the Rio Group, and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.
