PlayTech is a company based in Omaha, Nebraska that makes coin-op kiddie rides, arcade games, and playground equipment. The company was founded in 1977 by Montreal native Romain Cardona and his partners Luke A. Rasmussen, Samuel Weber, Valerie Masaoka and Lance Wood and was originally focused on modifications for pinball tables before entering the kiddie ride business in 1984 with a prototype of their original Care Bears kiddie ride.

The company is one of the most prolific and celebrated makers of kiddie rides in the world, having won many awards at trade shows for their rides' innovative features.

PlayTech operates a unit in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada known as PlayTech Canada Ltd., which builds kiddie rides for PlayTech.
