Poisoned Fruit was a rock duo formed in London, England in 2004. They were successful with their hits, No Need to Go to College to Rock, Nothing or Anything, and Devil's Army.
2004: Formation[]
After POV Records was founded, Michael Angelo, Chris Lee and Kent Cruz signed up for the label at the age of 26 (Michael Angelo), 28 (Chris Lee) & 24 (Kent Cruz). They chose the genres Rock and Metal because it fits the name, "Poisoned Fruit".
2004-2005: Self-titled album[]
In March 2004, Poisoned Fruit started working on their first self-titled album, they started recording with the single No Need to Go to College to Rock, which was a hit when it was released. After 4 months of recording, it was released on July 12, 2004. The album got positive reviews.
2005: Poisoned Fruit's Roast.[]
After their first album sold 9 million copies, they became super successful they were invited to Comedy Central Studios for a roast. After many fans roast Poisoned Fruit, they are offended by the roast, saying that "Getting roasted shouldn't exist!"
