Puruaguay (/ˈpjʊərəɡwaɪ/) (Spanish: Paruguay [paɾuˈɣwai̯]) or Uraguay [uɾaˈɣwai̯]) officially the Republic of Puruaguay (Spanish: República de Paruguay y Uraguay) is a country in South America, bordered by Argentina to the southwest and west, Brazil to the east and northeast, and Bolivia to the northwest.
