Life[]

Early years[]

Kirisame was born to a small family as the first and only child on July 10, 1671. Her early life was troubled, as her mother died when she was two and her father disbanded her at the age of ten, having to spend the second half of her childhood living in an orphanage.

Prior to founding the monarchy, Kirisame was trained to become a magician, and met one of her closest peers, Reimu Hakurei, before becoming a teenager.

Collaboration with the Swedish Monarchy[]

Kirisame first met Sweden's king, Charles XI, and other Swedish pilgrims during their official visit to the land and helped colonize the Gensokyo Colony. With the colony having been previously inhabited by just people from Japan and other East Asian nations, the colony started to have its first share of Western immigrants.

Life as Queen[]

Prior to her ascension, Kirisame paid an official state visit to Stockholm, where she attended one of their royal balls. After coming back to Minecraftia, she was in shock when she heard a plague that spread across Gensokyo had killed a large majority of its male population. She made an announcement to the colony that she would turn it into a monarchy, with the ascension ceremony taking place on January 2, 1703, at the age of 31. In the same year, Kirisame became one of Rinnosuke's many brides, with the marriage being temporary, where they divorced at the beginning of Kirisame's third trimester of her only pregnancy. In September 1704, she gave birth to a son named Kichou Kirisame.

Decline of Health and Death[]

Kirisame, having suffered numerous issues with diabetes and diabetic ketoacidosis, died on January 31, 1752. She was survived by her only son and two granddaughters. Immediately after her death, Kirisame's 47-year-old son Crown Prince Kichou became king, with her eldest granddaughter Princess Ayumi becoming Crown Princess Ayumi.
