RGN is an El Kadsreian TV commercial channel owned by Regal Group Network. It was launched on April 30, 1976. It is the second most-watched television channel in El Kadsre after El TV Kadsre 1.

History

The channel was launched on April 30, 1976. During that time, it mostly airs drama, children, comedy, imported and local shows, initially from 5:30 am to 12:30 am from 1976 to 1982, then 5 am to 1 am from 1982 to 1997, 3 am to 1 am from 1997 to 2003, then finally broadcasts 24 hours a day since 2003.

Since RGN has expanded to other United El Kadsreian Nations countries since 1978.

In 1992, Regal Group Network launched a video-on-demand streaming service called RGN Tele-Online (now RGN+).
