RKO Media Inc., simply known as RKO, is an American mass media company based in Manhattan, New York City. It was founded on May 3, 1987 following the merger of RCA-Scripps (owned by RCA and The E.W. Scripps Company) and RKO Enterprises, both of which were spun off from Radio-Keith-Orpheum.
