Roy Chester (born January 18, 1952) is an American-Barokian voice actor. He is considered one of Barokia's most famous voice actors.
Roy Chester was born in Los Angeles, California to a military father, Shelbert Darren Chester, and a mother from Utah, Carol Reid Chester. His mother died of a accidental gunshot wound when he was 5, and his dad later remarried to a Korean woman, Ryu Sun-hwa, of whom his father met in South Korea, where he was serving in the Korean War. During his years as a Air Force brat, he split his time between South Dakota, Japan, South Korea, and Massachusetts.
Roy first visited Barokia during his father's deployment to the US Air Force base at Fusid City Airport when he was 15 years old. He fell in love with Barokia, upon returning home to his home state of South Dakota, he got, as he put it, "homesick" for Barokia. He returned to Barokia in 1976, becoming a permanent resident for several years.
In 2000, he retired from voice acting and moved back to the United States. In 2009, he returned to voice acting in Barokia.
