Samurai Pizza Cats in Action! is a 1998 live-action stage play and a 62-minute film featuring three stories, "Guido's Talents", "Love is in the Air!", and "Emperor Fred Gets Lost". It was filmed especially for home video, based off the anime Samurai Pizza Cats. It was released on April 20, 1998 by Saban Home Entertainment. The opening scenes were filmed at the California State Fair in Sacramento, California. It features the Pizza Cats and the Rescue Squad skating around the fair and playing with kids. The show, created by Dawoud Media (based in Fusid City, Barokia), toured the United States, Canada, Latin America, Barokia, Israel, and El Kadsre with writer/director Qanfooz Salem from 1998-2000.

Plot[]

The video is made up of three separate stories. They are essentially live action adaptations of stories from the anime, with a few significant changes. Also, each story includes a subplot which was not in the series - Polly going to Anger Management, a training film, and the continuation of Francine's relationship with Bucky were all created for the stage play. Lucille does not appear as much in the play's stories, as Jerry Atric is played by the same suit actress as her.

Guido's Talents[]

Guido feels left out when Polly, Lucille, and even Speedy become music stars. But now it's up to him to save the city from Big Cheese's singing.

Love is in the Air![]

Francine's date with a deer name Bucky is ruined when the Bad Guys release a swarm of butterflies that can make people act like the opposite gender.

Emperor Fred Gets Lost[]

Speedy gives Princess Vi's pizza to Emperor Fred, who ruins it. The Princess has a temper tantrum and banishes both of them.
