The Sentanese Islands decolonization took place from 1919 to 1926 and again from 1945 to 1948 with sudden and radical regime changes on the continent as colonial governments made the transition to independent states; this was often quite unorganized and marred with violence and political turmoil. There was widespread unrest and organized revolts in both Northern and Southern parts of the Sentanese Islands (now El Kadsreian Islands), especially in British Kapura, Dutch Noordarito, French Faricia and Bellichiland.
