The park opened in 1981 as "EruoLand Family Park" by Donald Trump. In 1989 EruoLand was sold to Tierco Group, Inc. which would become known as Premier Parks in 1994. In 1999 EruoLand was bought by Six Flags and became Six Flags Eruowood.
