Sony Entertainment Television (known as Sony ETV in short form) is an American broadcast television network that ran from 1995 until 2006. It was owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America at that time.
Sony ETV ceased broadcasting on September 18, 2006, when The CW launched in its place. Many of the former Sony ETV stations have since went independent or become affiliates of The CW or Fox's secondary programming service and former television network MyNetworkTV.
