South Brazilian Airways S.A. (SBA; Portuguese: Aerolíneas do Sul do Brasil S.A.), is the state-owned, national flag carrier of South Brazil. As of August 2025, South Brazilian Airways operates flights to Africa, Caribbean, Europe, Central, North, and South America. The airline is currently headquartered in Viasta, South Brazil. The airline had been with SkyTeam since 2007 along with its cargo division with it being a member of SkyTeam Cargo and South Brazilian Airlink as a affiliated member since 2007.

South Brazilian Airways was founded and commenced operations on 26 March 1932 and having their first flight on the same day.

South Brazilian Airways was founded on 26 March 1932 by Marco Lomarez with only 4x Junkers F 13's, 8x Junker Ju 52/1m's, and 10x Junker Ju 52/3m's. By 1936 South Brazilian Airways would create South Brazilian Airlink on 13 September 1936.

Between 1947-1958, South Brazilian Airways started getting into the international game with flights to Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay between 1947-1951. During the Super Connie days, South Brazilian Airways started flight to all of South America. By 1957, South Brazilian Airways had all of Latin America under its thumb.

In 1959 South Brazilian Airways became the very first Latin American airline to start flying the Boeing 707 with 4x Boeing 707-120's and 4x Boeing 707-320's. By late 1959 South Brazilian Airways had 24x Boeing 707's (12x Boeing 707-120's and 12x Boeing 707-320's).
