Spark is a Euro Republican satellite and cable television channel owned by EuroMedia.

Spark listings include some very popular broadcasts—both original programs and many imported from North America—including 24American Dad!, Battlestar GalacticaBonesCapricaCSI, Family Guy, FringeGame of Thrones, GleeHouseJudge Judy, The Jerry Springer Show, Lie to MeLostPrison BreakThe SimpsonsThe Sopranos, Stargate (SG-1Atlantis, and Universe), Star Trek (The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise, Discovery, Picard, Lower Decks), South Park, Touch, WWE shows and XYZMusic.

On May 1, 2020, Spark launched Spark Max, which offers the Spark schedule in 4K (when available, if not then in 1080i), and offering programming in Dolby Atmos. Along with this, Spark became available on Apple TV Channels.

It is a very popular channel, with many calling it the flagship pay entertainment channel in the Euro Republics.


Spark launched in 1989 replacing Sky One (although it would be relaunched by Spark the next year) due to it becoming exclusive to the UK and Ireland.

On April 1, 1993, Spark introduced it’s first Spark-branded sister channel, Spark Two (now Spark2), along with the launch of Spark Multipack (rebranded as Sparktel in 1995). A new look for both channels were unveiled that November.

In 1997, Spark rebranded once again.

In 2000, A new sister channel launched, S2000 was launched and billed as “the channel for the next millenium.” It rebranded as Spark 3 in 2001, and then to TripleSpark, and is now Spark Animation.
