Studio Sitrus, Inc. (Japanese: 株式会社スタジオシトラス, Hepburn: Kabushiki-gaisha Sutajio Shitorasu) is a Japanese animation studio, established in 8 August 2018 by Kazuo Tsuru, along with former staff from Madhouse, David Production, Gainax, Bee Train Animation, Studio Chizu and TMS Entertainment.
Similar to Bungie's frequent references to the number 7, Studio Sitrus' productions frequently reference the number 8. Two of the reasons, as to why this is, include the fact that number 8 is Tsuru's favorite number, and that it is considered a lucky number in Japanese culture. There are eight citrus segments in the logo.
