Valencia is a country in North America. It is located in-between Cuba and the Florida Keys. The main language is Valencian Latin.
History[]
The island was first discovered in 1697 by Spanish explorer Delun Decreza. No further contact with the island occurred until 1923 when an unnamed British explorer was shipwrecked on the island and had to survive off of Coconuts, Guava, and Ocean water. It wasn't until 1936 when the first permanent inhabitants arrived on the island. In 1944, during WW2, a base for the US military was constructed on the island. It was demolished a year after the war ended. In 1957, the United States bought the island for 12 cents an acre. It was renamed to the "US Territory of Valencia" the year after. In 1969, Valencia became its own country with its own language, currency, and government. It is still an independent country to this day.
