In 1995, her agent Andrew Wlodarczyk wanted her to audition for a character for The Busy World of Richard Scarry Live!. To research Richard Scarry's work, she watched Richard Scarry's Best ABC Video Ever! on VHS, having no idea which character she was going to audition for. She went to the Actors Studio in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan and walked into a room of other actors, mainly mascot performers, auditioning for other roles in the tour. Throughout her audition for her choice of character, Sally Cat, she was coached to portray several of the emotions required for the role before she was asked to put on the costume.

She was cast as Tess Churchmouse for the North America tour of Redwall - Mattimeo's Journey in 2001-02 and as Panther Cap for the North American tour of Toad Patrol Live! in 2003-04.

Personal Life

Tammy resides in Miami, Florida and runs an acting school named La Regiomontano Pequeña.
