Tashein (Tasheini: Ташидканида; romanized: Tashidkanida), officially the Eighth Republic of Tashein (Tasheini: Тиберзу Ташидканида Репдузае; romanized: Tiberzu Tashidkanida Repduzaye) is a country located in the Kadersaryinan Islands within the continent of North America. It shares a border with Fiugeyhery to the east, Ypywrhwe to the west, maritime borders with A'ame and Ma'altar to the north, Jahydifaef to the southeast, and Loagbevaeshcat and Lainyathia to the southwest. It is the third largest country in the Kadersaryinan Islands by population, and the second largest in size. The capital and largest city of Tashein is Vnahaygingrad. Other major cities include Shinalxa, Bkmayat, Qam'wakinan, and Na'oknto.

The first Tasheini political entity was the Kingdom of Tashein, It existed between 300 AD and 1575 AD, becoming one of the wealthiest kingdoms in the region. It was closely related to Ypywrhwe, Zolpycevo, and Lainyathia. After the Columbus expedition, Russia claimed Tashei'iniski Island. Tashein also claimed parts of the Bahamas, leading to a purchase by Britain. Tasheini nationalism rose in the 1840s, eventually leading to a war against the British inspired by the Russian Revolution. A socialist state arrived quickly. Poverty, internal clashes, and famines, such as the 1926 Tasheini famine, were incredibly frequent. Right-wing politicians began taking power following this famine. With the advent of the Second World War, the fascist Tasheini Kubivov State formed, but collapsed only a few years later with a joint occupation by its neighbors. A series of coups then occurred in the post-WWII era, alternating from authoritarian to democratic rule.

In 1977, the United Kadersaryinan Federation formed a satellite state in Tashein. It operated under Majedor Jaskal, the UKF's leader's ideology of Jaskalism and promoted Pan-Caribbean, nonpartisan, and patriotism in the region under his and his family's command. Following the regime's collapse in 1991, Tametlryedian born politician Awvaea Vonag'glay chose to take power. His influence, oligarchy, distributist, and near power influenced other nations. The Seventh Republic was overthrown by right-wing sympathizers in February 2015. Tashein has been in the process of recovery from the coup.

Despite being involved in many wars and coup d'etats, Tashein is considered a developed country and is a member of NATO, the United Nations, and the National Syndication of the Kadersaryinan Islands.

History[]

Prehistory (Prehistory - 1575)[]

Arawak tribes migrated into modern Tashein through the Lesser Antilles, Hispaniola, and eventually Lemongo. Roughly dated to 1800 BC, the Kyeranyo civilization formed in the northwestern section of Tashei'iniski Island. The Kyeranyo people experienced growth, then years of stagnation due to internal conflicts, raids from other tribes, kingdoms, clans, and empires before collapsing entirely in 193 AD.

In the early 3rd century, the Chiefdom of Vnahay, the Chiefdom of Xahixe, and Chiefdom of Bkmayat merged to form the Kingdom of Tashein. The kingdom conquered most of Tashei'iniski Island by 615 AD. Tashein eventually claimed territory in modern-day Jahydifaef occupied by the First Kingdom of Akal'lalwe. Tashein declared war against them, starting the War of Five Kingdoms, which lasted between 625 AD and 1018 AD. Ypywrhwe, Zolpycevo, Xaofratls'se, and Lainyathia also played a part in the war. It is one of the longest wars in Kadersaryinan history.

The Kingdom of Tashein was affiliated with the Kingdom of Ngo, and traded slaves, cassava, and weaponry from then on. Tashein was able to persevere during the Judaist raids and became an important power in the Caribbean by the late 9th century. Tashein was also allies with Ypywrhwe, Zolpycevo, A'ame, and Kittenolivia.

In 1335 AD, a ship from Mali arrived to modern-day Sialeh, which was partially controlled by Tashein at the time. The Mali Empire had established ports in the region and had control under it due to an agreement which would help trade with neighboring empires and kingdoms. A severe hurricane rolled through the Caribbean in 1421, which wiped out the Malian settlements in the area, but as time passed, new kingdoms formed in the region to increase the spread of Islam. The religion would remain a majority in the far eastern Caribbean (excluding Eruowood), even with prominence now.

Colonial era (1575 - 1917)[]

From 1575 to 1809, Russia occupied modern-day Tashein and formed Russian Tashein. It was not the only colony on the island though, as to the west was German Tashein and to the east was Couronian Tashein. Much of the land was used for cotton or tobacco crops. Many of the Tasheini ethnic people were converted to Christianity and began writing their language in the Cyrillic script.

Tashein was formally sold to Great Britain in 1809 due to conflicts over the Bahamas. Between 1880 and 1901, Tashein occupied the entirety of Jahydifaef, some territory in modern-day Sialeh, and parts of eastern Haiti. There was also a Tasheini claim to Jamaica between 1885 and 1911.

Independence (1917 - 1941)[]

Inspired by the ongoing Russian Revolution, Tashein delcared independence from the British as the United Union of Tashein. The United Union of Tashein was inspired by Bolshevik revolutions of the time, and eventually developed their own ideology known as Yujki'toskism named after the UUT's first leader, Tokevai Yujki'tosk.

Kubivov era (1941 - 1945)[]

Hukutya Kubivov quickly transitioned the United Union of Tashein into a fascist state, similar to Nazi Germany and the National Bolshevik movements. This was quickly removed from power. Kubivov was imprisoned in 1945 and was put to death for crimes against humanity.

Post-war history (1945 - 1977)[]

After Kubivov was imprisoned, Arsakye Ahbriski formed the First Republic of Tashein. He attempted to democratize and Americanize his nation. Part way through succeeding his plan, a military coup was incited by military officer Nrakokiy Dhuyasov. The capital city of Vnahaygingrad was captured by military officers in July 1950. The Dhuyasov administration was operated under a military junta. To Dhuyasov's dismay, his partners betrayed him in 1954 and started another coup. After getting fed up with Dhuyasov, a new junta was assembled. It lasted for another 4 years until being disestablished by a Fourth Republic.

The fourth republic adopted syndicalist and socialist values despite being democratic and capitalist, and gravitated to allying with the Soviet Union and Cuba. Tashein was also deep into the Cuban Missile Crisis, but turned into a neutral power as it grew in intensity. Another coup was instigated. This time, it was started by Ahbriski sympathizers. It continued to gravitate to Cuba and other communist states, despite not expressing socialism.

Between 1940 and 1969, Lemongo and Jahydifaef owned the Fiugeyhery Peninsula, before the Second Republic of Fiugeuland formed in 1970.

In January 1972, the nation was attacked by another coup by Fzyokoto Nehauvov. He empowered Ypywrhwean and Zolpycevoan independence, which soon happened in early 1977 (Ypywrhwe) and later that year (Zolpycevo).

Jaskalist era (1977 - 1991)[]

The Federation of Tashein was merely a satellite state of the United Kadersaryinan Federation. This iteration of the Tasheini state operated as a one-party Jaskalist state. Khupir Ehuraxov acted as leader for the nation, winning the 1977, 1981, 1985, and 1989 elections.

Ypywrhwe and Zolpycevo declared independence early into this era. Ypywrhwe was loyal to Tashein but Zolpycevo was not. Loagbevaeshcat, Ayirtavai'ice, Ma'altar, half of Bpalyal, and A'ame were all parts of Tashein at this time too.

Vonag'glay era (1991 - 2015)[]

Awvaea Vonag'glay, a Tybormr'ryan (at the time of his birth part of Tametlryedia) born politician, took power as leader of Tashein. He was not a dictator and instead was President, but exhibited authoritarian rule. Vonag'glay proceeded to win the 1991, 1995, 1999, 2004, and 2008 elections before he retired at the age of 70.

His son Zyzkiko Vonag'glay took power from 2008 to 2015. The Vonag'glay family was deep into oligarchic, distributist, nearly polyarchic power, adopting a center-left social democratic constitution. Awvaea and Zyzkiko had declared disdain for fascism and refused to contact nations like Clyohraira, Uhajut, and Trimaka. None of these countries responded to Tashein's bitter non-compliance to these nation's laws due to Natcarib's 1993 Agreement of Non-Intervention.

In February 2015, the Tasheini National Enlightenment Movement, a far-right neoconservative anti-socialist militia group took power from Zyzkiko and sent him into a prison near Vnahaygingrad for reported "crimes against patriotism, democracy, and national embarrassment". Zyzkiko and the rest of the Vonag'glays was allowed to leave incarceration on bail in 2021, with an agreement from the Tasheini government that they would be sent to Loagbevaeshcat and would not be allowed to run for any political positions in Tashein, Ypywrhwe, or Zolpycevo.

Eighth Republic (2015 - present)[]

Far-right and conservative activists took note of the Vonag'glayist administration and its clients and took power through brute force. Malodryz Awlohe'lsibov, affiliated with the Radical Party, became the first President of the Eighth Republic of Tashein. Awlohe'lsibov instated a variety of conservative and right-wing policies into the constitution to reverse the regime under Awvaea Vonag'glay.

Vnahaygingrad, Tashein is currently the operatings base of the National Syndication of the Kadersaryinan Islands.

Economy[]

Tashein operates a command economy where the government controls much of the business. This is a leftover from the Vonag'glayist era. Large companies like Carnade and theR operate freely, in defiance to this law. Cocoa beans, bananas, fishing, and tourism make up most of the Tasheini economy. Technology exports are also prominent.

Agriculture[]

Although prevailing between the 1500s and mid 1950s, Tashein had a heavy agricultural industry. Cassava, bananas, and cocoa beans were typically grown.

Infrastructure[]

Tasheini infrastructure only began to be set in stone after the 1860s. Major ports were being expanded, a road system was created, and new towns were constructed. By the early 1900s, Vnahaygingrad, Shinalxe, and Bkmayat were considered major cities. Skyscrapers and urban development were top priority for Tashein since the 1950s.

Government and politics[]

Tashein is a presidential constitutional republic, roughly based off the Russian and American systems. Right-wing populist leaders have ruled Tashein since the 2015 coup d'etat, but recently left wing parties such as the Democratic People’s Power Party have been consistently participating in elections. Elements of the Awvaea Vonag'glay administration have been in the Tasheini constitution since the 90s.

The main political parties in Tashein consist of the Tasheini First Party, the Radical Party, Tasheini Nationalist Movement, the Democratic People’s Power Party, and the Liberal Democratic Party.

Administrative divisions[]

Tashein is split into 24 bunarkas.
