TechEruo Kids 2 was a demo channel version of TechEruo Kids that was launched in 1992 to showcase shows (some yet to be released on the main channel) to TechEruo divisions, parental groups and potential distributers. Due to the rise of the Internet, this channel closed down in 2011.

Shows seen on this channel before it's official Eruowoodian release[]

  • Caillou (unknown date in 1999, ekd. August 1, 1999, would be released on ERPT abc in 2002)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants (June 1, 1999, would be released on TechEruo Kids on May 1, 2000)
  • Super Duper Sumos (unknown date in 2002, would be released on DVD and on ERPT Lazer in 2004)

Trivia[]

  • This is the only TechEruo Kids channel where Luigi was the spokesplumber instead of Mario, although in early concepts, TechEruo Kids West (for the Eruowoodian Western timezone) had Luigi as the spokesplumber, before switching to Mario so the animators and Charles Martinet wouldn't have to do twice the work.
  • Several shows that came to the channel never made it back to the main channel for several reasons.
    • Caillou was aired in 1999 and early 2000, but due to complaints from parents about his whiny behavior and TechEruo Kids president at the time Alfred Dawson calling it "a bad role model for the younger folks and lacks clever snarky adult references for the older folks".
    • Rats! was a pilot for a spinoff of Rugrats made by TechEruo and Klasky-Csupo showcasing the Rugrats as adults with their own "Rugrats", but was canned in 2009 as the two's 10 year contract came to a fallout. The pilot aired on the network and was lost until it was found in mid-2020.
    • Super Duper Sumos aired on the network for three days in 2002 before Alfred Dawson saw the show and was immediately disgusted and famously said "The h*ll happened to kids' cartoons?" and complained about the constant butt humor.
  • The channel's feed was left as the TechEruo Kids error screen from 2011 until 2020, when the channel was replaced with COVID-19 info.
