Theodore Warren "Tedy" McCormick Sr. (born May 5, 1955 Canandaigua, New York) is a fictional television meteorologist based in Rochester, New York. He currently works for WHAM-TV.
Early Life[]
McCorrmick was born in Canandaigua, New York in 1955.
When he was 8 years old he was diagnosed with ADHD. When he was 14 years old he was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome (a mild form of autism).
Broadcast Career[]
McCorrmick was hired at WOKR-TV (now WHAM-TV) in 1979 as a weekend weather anchor. He was the first disabled television personality in the Rochester, NY market. In 1986 he was promoted to his current position as chief meteorologist.
In 2005, McCorrmick became the first television meteorologist in the Rochester, NY market and second person in America to receive the AMS distinction as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist.

- Early on in his career his on air name was "Teddy Mcorrmick", in 1983 the extra "d" was dropped from his stage name because he always spelled his name as "Tedy" with one "d".
