The television industry in Plant Kingdom is extensive and advanced. As of 2021, there are over 800 television channels with contents including news, series, reality shows, specials, sports, documentaries, movies, gaming, weather, arts, and economics. The most important and popular television channel is PKCTV-1 General, which is owned by Plant Kingdom Media Group, a state-owned media organization. Today, nearly all people in Plant Kingdom have access to television; 98% have access to digital television. Additionally, all major television channels in Plant Kingdom support 1080p 16:9 picture format; numerous also support 4K resolution. The first 8K television channel is set to launch later this year ahead of Tokyo Summer Olympic and Beijing Winter Olympic.
