Television in the Charlesland Republic launched in May 1949. Currently broadcasting in RDBS (Republic Digital Broadcasting System) digital format.
History
The television first set-up as NTSC system, just like US, Mexico, Japan, or Canada one. The first television station was launched in May 1949 as RSC-TV in Crowden City, with the fully launching as in early-1950s.
Color television was set-up in 1962, and fully launching in 1968 nationwide.
Digital television was launched in 2002 with RDBS-T instead of ATSC or DVB-T and launching a first 5 digital-only channels. Analog switchover completed on September 11, 2012.
